International Union of Women Architects

Founded in 1963, the IUWA aims, in the spirit of the United Nations Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to establish friendly relations and exchanges among women architects and town planners in all countries; consolidate their efforts to ensure that careers in these fields are opened to women; collect information concerning their status and professional life; provide opportunities for women architects to express and diffuse their ideas.
