indiana collective
indiana collective is a Zurich based collective of architects, urbanists, and researchers reflecting the intersectional relationship between gender and the built environment. Founded in 2022, the collective now consists of seven members — namely Marie Grob, Mira Kind, Sakja Odermatt, Lea Prati, Giulia Scotto, Miriam Stierle, Viviane Zibung — alongside numerous active contributors. It organises reading groups, workshops, and activist interventions to raise awareness of spatial inequalities and to strengthen participation in the city and its production across gender, age, and origin. indiana seeks to develop architectural and urban strategies that help transform today’s androcentric built environment and patriarchal social structures into spaces that are more equitable, accessible, and supportive of care work.
Aanyone interested is invited to join indiana collective’s monthly reading groups.
